Self Help Graphics marks its 53rd Día de los Muertos with a block-party-style celebration outdoors on Anderson Street, with a procession, live music and dance, community altars, a market, food vendors and art activities. It runs 3–10 p.m. on Saturday, Nov 7 at the arts center, 1300 E 1st St in Boyle Heights, a short walk from the Metro E Line Pico/Aliso station. Admission is free, with tickets reserved through the center's Eventbrite registration. It is one of several Día de los Muertos gatherings on our calendar, following Grand Park's Noche de los Muertos on Nov 1.
