The closing night of Grand Park's Downtown Día de los Muertos brings performances by The Negrete Family, DJ Butchona, Lxs Cochinxs and Mosa!, alongside hands-on ribbon braiding, sugar skull decorating, face painting and paper weaving, with candlelit ofrendas once the sun goes down. It takes place Sunday, Nov 1 from 3 to 7 p.m. at 200 N Grand Ave, a short walk from the Metro B/D Line Civic Center/Grand Park station. Entry is free; the park asks guests to RSVP. It caps a series that opened with an all-day celebration on Oct 24.
