An afternoon Day of the Dead celebration for all ages, with music from Patricia Alcaraz and the Maqueos Music Philharmonic, folk dance, community altars, free workshops, face painting, raffles and food. It runs noon to 5pm at Mercado La Paloma, 3655 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, about 0.2 miles from the Metro J Line 37th St/USC station. Admission is free. The market's collective Día de los Muertos art exhibition is on view at the same time, through Nov 16.
