About
TreePeople hands out 200 coast live oak saplings to Angelenos willing to plant them, as part of its Rooting for LA push to get 28,000 trees in the ground by 2028. The giveaway is Saturday, Oct 24 from 10am to 1pm at TreePeople's park on Coldwater Canyon, 12601 Mulholland Dr, where parking is limited to the lot at Coldwater Canyon Ave and Mulholland, with overflow at Wilacre Park. You must register in advance to receive a seedling; the listing does not publish a price. The next day TreePeople hosts a free community reading of Do You Speak Tree?
