Trees, Landscapes and Sacred Nature

About

A museum educator looks at how different cultures have pictured the natural world, setting paintings by Jacob van Ruisdael and Vincent van Gogh beside South and Southeast Asian Buddhist sculpture in which natural forms carry spiritual meaning. The hour-long talk meets at 1pm in the Entrance Gallery, 411 W Colorado Blvd, Pasadena. It is free with museum admission ($20 adults), limited to 20 people, with sign-up at the Information Desk when the museum opens.
