Downtown Día De Los Muertos Ofrenda Exhibition

For ten days the lawns of Grand Park hold an outdoor display of 17 community ofrendas, including a shared Community Altar where visitors may leave a framed photo, memento or note for someone they have lost. It is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Oct 24 through Nov 2 (one listing on the site gives Nov 1 as the last day), at 200 N Grand Ave near the Metro B/D Line Civic Center/Grand Park station. It is free and no ticket is needed. The exhibition is bookended by the Oct 24 opening celebration and the Nov 1 Noche de los Muertos.
