St Paul Woods Restoration Workday
About
Volunteers cut out buckthorn and other invasive brush so more light reaches the forest floor and native wildflowers and grasses can return. Enter the driveway on the north side of Oakton Avenue opposite Natchez Avenue (6500 Oakton Ave, Morton Grove) and look for yellow volunteer signs. It runs 10am–1pm Sunday; free, RSVP requested, and under-18s need a parent, guardian or chaperoned group. Another St Paul Woods workday follows on Nov 29.
