Bunker North Flatwoods Restoration Workday

About

Volunteers help bring back a 76-acre oak woodland that is new to restoration, pulling invasive plants and spreading native seed. Enter the preserve from Harts Road just west of Touhy and Caldwell (about 6600 W Harts Rd, Niles). The workday runs 10am–1pm Saturday; it's free, RSVP to the stewards is requested, and under-18s need a parent, guardian or chaperoned group. North Branch Restoration holds workdays at other preserves along the river most weekends this fall.
