Serger Basics and Certification
About
This three-hour class on the overlock machine, used to finish seams and sew knits, certifies you on Ace's sergers. It runs Thursday, November 12, 6–9 PM, at 6050 Lowell Street, Suite 214, Oakland (near the Oakland–Emeryville line, a short walk from the AC Transit lines on San Pablo Avenue), and costs $60, with three tickets left when we checked. It is a natural next step after Sewing 101 for anyone making their own clothes.
