Intro to Peaceful Pottery
About
Potter Alice Rathjen, who has more than 40 years of experience, teaches a gentle six-week introduction to the wheel, slab, coil and freeform hand-building, and glazing, with unstructured studio time and no pressure to produce. It meets Wednesdays, November 4 to December 9, 6–8:30 PM, at Sebastopol Center for the Arts, 282 S. High Street (drive/park). The price is $250 ($210 plus $40 materials), for ages 16+. It was marked out of stock at the time of writing, and the page offers a notify-me option if a spot opens.
