About

Alice Rathjen demonstrates a functional pottery project at the start of each session and then guides you on your own work: pinch pots, coils and texture in week one, slips, slabs and slump molds in week two, and glazing strategies in week three. The three sessions run Wednesdays, November 4–18, 1:30–4 PM, at Sebastopol Center for the Arts, 282 S. High Street, Sebastopol (drive/park). It is on a sliding scale from $55 ($45, $55 or $65, plus $10 for 5 lb of recycled clay). It is the lowest-cost multi-week clay course SebArts has on our calendar, well under the $250 Intro to Peaceful Pottery.
