Writing Memoir Through a Speculative Lens
About
Nandita Dinesh leads a workshop on using fictionalization and distance to write about personal memories, with guided writing and small-group discussion inspired by Susanna Kwan's Awake in the Floating City, in the Learning Studio on the 5th floor of the Main Library, 100 Larkin Street (Civic Center BART/Muni). It runs 2–4 pm on Sunday, Nov 1, for adults and teens; spots are first come, first served, and SFPL doesn't print a price on the listing. The same workshop runs at the Eureka Valley branch on Oct 28, also on our calendar.
