Writing Memoir Through a Speculative Lens
About
Nandita Dinesh leads a workshop on approaching personal memories through fictionalization and distance, with guided writing and small-group discussion inspired by Susanna Kwan's Awake in the Floating City, the 2026 One City One Book pick, at the Eureka Valley/Harvey Milk Memorial branch, 1 Jose Sarria Court off 16th Street (Castro Muni Metro station). It runs 5–7 pm on Wednesday, Oct 28, for adults and teens; seats are first come, first served, and SFPL doesn't print a price on the listing. A second session runs at the Main Library on Sunday, Nov 1.
