Kitiya Ditpare teaches the dishes of southern Thailand in a four-hour Friday cooking class at 18 Reasons, 3674 18th Street in the Mission (J Church to 18th Street, or about ten minutes' walk from 16th St Mission BART). It runs 6–10 pm on Oct 23. Sold out at the time of writing, with no waitlist link shown. Southern Thai food is hotter and more turmeric-forward than the central Thai dishes most Bay Area restaurants serve, so this class covers dishes you'll rarely find on a menu here.
