Explorer Hike: Lichen Eyes
About
A moderate loop of about 5 miles and 600 feet of climbing on the Peters Creek and Long Ridge trails, where docents Kate Bauer, Mary Brunkhorst and Nick Yatsko teach how to tell common lichens apart and what these partnerships do for the landscape. It runs Wednesday, Nov 4, 10:30 am–2:30 pm, from the Peters Creek roadside parking on the west side of Skyline Boulevard, 3.3 miles south of Page Mill Road (overflow across the road at Grizzly Flat). Bring lunch; Midpen doesn't publish a price on the listing.
