Eternal Echoes II: the Kiki Ball with Sir Joq
About
Curator Sir Joq stages an evening honoring San Francisco's queer pioneers through Bay Area ballroom and vogue culture: an opening ceremony, music and drag performances, then an open kiki ball where anyone can walk categories for prizes. It runs 6–9 p.m. in the Roberts Family Gallery on Floor 1 of SFMOMA, 151 Third St, near Montgomery St BART, presented with Dance Mission Theater. SFMOMA doesn't publish a price on this listing; RSVP via Humanitix is encouraged and seating is first come, first served. Kiki balls are all-ages, so this is a rare chance for younger dancers to compete in a museum setting.
