Hiller Aviation Museum stays open into the evening for Starlab sky shows indoors and, weather permitting, telescope views of the Moon and planets outside, plus a look at San Carlos Airport after dark. Friday, Nov 13 from 5 pm, with the museum open until 7 pm, and again Dec 18 and Jan 15; at 601 Skyway Rd, San Carlos (drive and park). Included with regular museum admission (members free), it is a gentler, kid-friendly alternative to late-night stargazing up in the hills.
