Filoli's Halloween experience runs as one story across the estate: a harvest party in the Meadow, the transformed historic house, a Redwood Trail lit by 1,000 jack-o'-lanterns, a Witches' Village and, new this year, a miniature railway with eight looping trains. Nightly through Nov 1, 5:30–10 pm (last entry 8:30 pm) at 86 Cañada Road, Woodside, with free parking on site; general admission is sold online without a printed price, while a Champagne Lounge runs $125 per adult. It is family-friendly rather than scary, though some areas are dimly lit.
