Christmas in the Park Opening Night Ceremony

Christmas in the Park marks the start of its 2026 season in downtown San José with an opening night ceremony among the community-decorated trees. It runs Saturday, November 28, 6–7 PM, at Plaza de César Chávez on Market Street, about a mile from San José Diridon Caltrain. The park is free to enter, with donations optional; a separate opening-night party at the park's Tavern follows from 7 to 9 PM. The park then stays open daily, noon–10 PM, through January 1, as our main Christmas in the Park listing describes.
