Workshop Care Night
About
Volunteers pair up to maintain and repair Ace's woodshop tools, from aligning a table-saw blade to fixing dust-collection ducts, while practising Shop Basics habits such as logging assets on the wiki. It runs Thursday, October 22, 7–9 PM, at Ace Makerspace, 6050 Lowell Street, Suite 214, Oakland (roughly a mile from Ashby BART); it is for ages 18+, Shop Basics is a prerequisite, and tickets are free or $15. Closed-toe shoes and work clothes are required, and eye and ear protection are provided. A second care night is on our calendar for November 24.
