Death by Aria
About
A Halloween concert that moves audiences through the cathedral past opera scenes, a cabaret number and tango, with singers, violin, sax, oboe, aerialist Dwoira Galilea Scheffer and projections, ending in an organ-and-aerial finale; a reception precedes it and the artists mingle afterward. It runs 7–10 p.m. (concert 8–9 p.m.) at Grace Cathedral, 1100 California St, on the California St cable car line. Tickets are $125, or $75 for under-30s, including Halloween cocktails, wine and bites. It is the first time Taste of Talent and Red Curtain Addict have staged it in the cathedral.
