Murals & Monuments Tour
About
Art historian Ted Barrow leads a YBCA walking tour of murals, monuments and public art through Civic Center, Mid-Market and SoMa, starting at Lava Thomas's Maya Angelou monument at the Main Library, 100 Larkin St (Civic Center BART/Muni), and ending at YBCA's Dread Scott exhibition. It starts at 12:30 pm on Saturday, Oct 24; YBCA asks for an RSVP and doesn't print a price. YBCA's Silent Shorts screening at 2 pm makes a natural next stop.
