Works on Paper Book Club: the Poetics of Space by Gaston Bachelard
About
Curator América Castillo gives a short talk on Gaston Bachelard's 1958 book about how houses, drawers and other intimate spaces hold memory, and its link to the RM x SFMOMA show on Floor 7, before group discussion in the Koret Education Center on Floor 2 of SFMOMA, 151 Third St (a short walk from Montgomery St BART/Muni). It starts at 6 pm on Thursday, Nov 19 (doors 5:30); free, RSVP required as space is limited. It follows the October session on Carribean Fragoza, also on our calendar.
