About

Walter Mosley talks with writer Carvell Wallace about Hanging and Burning, the latest Joe King Oliver mystery, in which King hunts for a dying LA gangster's missing granddaughter and reopens the cold case of a vanished torch singer; Borderlands Books handles sales and signing. It runs 6:30–8 p.m. (doors 6 p.m.) in the Koret Auditorium of the Main Library, 100 Larkin St, at Civic Center BART/Muni. The library doesn't publish a price on this listing, but SFPL programs are free, and pre-registration through Eventbrite is required. It is co-presented with Litquake as an after-hours event, so expect it to fill.
