About

The Exploratorium's winter exhibition of light-based artworks, including Robin Baumgarten's one-dimensional LED game Line Wobbler, a sculpture of thousands of eyeglass lenses by Caitlind r.c. Brown and Wayne Garrett, Paul Friedlander's spinning waveform sculptures and OK Design's wall of 91 motorized infinity mirrors, plus Tinkering Studio light-painting and shadow-creature activities. It runs Nov 19 to Jan 24 at Pier 15 on the Embarcadero, about a 15-minute walk from Embarcadero BART, during regular hours (Tuesday to Saturday 10 am to 5 pm, Sundays from noon, closed Mondays) and on Thursday After Dark nights. Entry is included with museum admission. The After Dark opening party for Glow is on Nov 19, 6 to 10 pm.
